Happy 4th of July!!

Our usual tradition for the 4th grew this year! It remained in HB, just a lot more activities were planned!! We started the day with the 5k up and down Main St. I joined Claire and Mekaja, Celea, Shane, Linnea, and Dean for the stroller 5k and Josh joined Kyle for the "real" 5k run! :)
Next we watched the parade with the whole fam. I don't think I have one picture of Gavin without a Chip in his mouth or hand...what can I say...its the 4th! Oh well.
We then went to the beach all day and hung around the RV's and had a really relaxing day. We were joined by so many friends and family: The Torreys, The Boudreau's, Clarice and Co., Garrett and Chelsea and Co., Ryan, Sean, and Summer and Co. We ended the day with Fireworks and headed home!
God has truly blessed this Nation and I am so grateful for the freedom's that come with it! What a great thing to celebrate! Thank you Lord!!

Swim Lessons

When swim lessons come around it feels like Summer has finally arrived! We are joined by our great friends Mark and Shanna! This is our tradition of 2 years now and we hope to continue it for many years and with many kids. Shanna has the head start with baby number 2 due in just a few weeks! The boys have improved so much this year and have a blast together! They love to blow bubbles, hang out on the wall together screaming, and of course jumping in at the same time! We bring sack lunches and enjoy the sun as we shed the chill the cold water left. Our sweet little pale Gavin even has a farmers tan this year...we are so proud! :)Photos courtesy of Nana!! :)

McDonalds Play Date

We felt like we were straight out of a commercial having a lunch date with our toddlers and McDonald's. We had a blast chatting over hamburgers and watching the boys go crazy and nearly impale themselves on the play ground. I love when my friend Andi and I get together and love when the boys get to play. When Oliver see's Gavin he says, " Thats my friend Gawin!!!" It is the cutest thing ever!

Sprinklers

On one of the hottest June mornings I can remember we got a beautiful invite from beautiful friends that we could not turn down, " Wanna come over and play in our SPONGE BOB SPRINKLER?" We jumped up got ready and headed to Olivers' house at 9am, I believe. It was so hot that us parents couldn't help but jump in after them every once in a while. The boys had SO much fun...Gavin can't wait to play with Oliver and Sponge bob again! :)
